GTA February 2022 Market Stats — Residential
February home sales marked the second-highest on record. New listings dipped, but by a marginally lesser annual rate than sales, pointing to a slight balancing in the market. Look out for a more moderate price growth later this year.
In February, total sales of detached house was 3,928 which decreased by 20.1% compared to February last year and the total sales of semi-detached, townhouse, condo decreased by 22.8%, 14.5% and 10.8% respectively compared to February 2021. However, the average price for detached house increased by 31% which is $1,797,203 and average price for condominium increased to close to $800,000. The average detached house sold price in Toronto is over $2,000,000 in February,2022.
